Parents, this one’s for you!
STEM Academy recognizes that it truly takes a village to raise a child and in today’s world, that village is our parents, STEM teachers and the circle that each family creates for their child. We strive to create the best environment for your child and to build a strong connection with each family. To achieve this goal, we must stay connected…communication is key! Below are the different methods and tools we use to stay connected with our families.
- ELECTRONIC DAILY REPORTS
- STEM Academy loves technology! So of course we found an electronic daily report for our parents. After enrolling your child at STEM, visit www.tadpoles.com to download the application. The daily report will provide information on food intake, sleep log, accidents/incident, weekly summaries/lesson plans, information on the activities your child is participating in, class announcements and photos/videos of your child. It’s a great way to always stay connected!
- FAMILY-TEACHER CONFERENCES (Preschool – First Grade)
- Parents and teachers are always encouraged to stay connected at STEM. If at any time you have a question or would like to set up a meeting with your teacher, please feel free to ask. During the school year, families with children in Preschool through First Grade will have the opportunity to participate in formal parent/teacher conferences. Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled twice a year.
